"Ein richtig schöner, kleiner portugiesischer Laden mitten in der Nachbarschaft. Die Theke ist immer super bestückt, alles sieht frisch und liebevoll gemacht aus – man bekommt direkt Appetit. Besonders toll sind die hausgemachten Mittagssachen, die es immer wieder gibt. Ich weiß nie genau, was es gerade gibt – manchmal sind bestimmte Dinge da, manchmal nicht – aber genau das macht auch den Charme aus. Es ist ein bisschen wie eine kleine kulinarische Überraschung, und bisher war alles richtig lecker. Dazu kommen die unglaublich lieben Menschen hinter dem Tresen – herzlich, freundlich und einfach sympathisch. So ein Ort, den man gerne in seiner Nähe hat. Absolute Empfehlung."

"Mittagsbesuch im Mercado Alentejano, ein kleines, authentisches, portugiesisches Café in der Weidenalle (Nähe U-Christuskirche) mit vielen Leckereien (Alentejo Küche). Sehr freundliches Serviceteam. Auch als Außerhausverkauf u.a. leckere Wurst- u. Käsesorten."

"Kleiner Laden mit portugisischem Flair, mit genügend großer Auswahl an Empanadas, Kuchen und Quiche. Der Galao schmeckte sehr gut und verführt zum Nachbestellen Ich fand die Preise etwas höher als in vergleichbaren Bistros, mag aber dem Standort geschuldet zu sein. Dieser verführt gerade zu zum Chillen in der Sonne Das Einzige was mir als erstes auffiel und als etwas negativ wahrgenommen wurde, war die fehlende Freundlichkeit dem Kunden gegenüber. War jetzt nicht dramatisch, viel aber gleich auf. Ein kleines Lächeln kann vieles einfacher machen Wie dem auch sei, werden sicherlich noch einmal dort einkehren und die ein oder andere Leckerei probieren."

"Für mich der beste Galao Laden in town. Leckere Tapas und eine vorzügliche Auswahl an speziellen Weinen aus Portugal findet man hier vor und mittlerweile für uns alle ein familiärer Rückzugsort geworden ist in unserer Nachbarschaft, die sich leider immer mehr zum Nachteil verändert hat. (Gentrifzierung) Hier finden noch schöne und gesellige Gespräche statt und Freundschaften entwickeln sich hier. Danke hierfür an die Besitzerin Fatima an dieser Stelle"
